IN NUTSHELL: HOW TO PERFORM THE ROLES IN CLUB MEETINGS OF TOASTMASTERS PART 3- ROLE OF GRAMMARIAN

 If you are going to be the Grammarian of your club meeting know the importance of role-Grammarian. You have to listen carefully each and every speeches of the club meeting and help your club members by your observation and suggestions. Now follow the given steps to perform the role; - In the beginning of the meeting introduce your role and share the 'word of the day' with your club members. The word should enhance the vocabulary of your members. -During the meeting be attentive - note good use and incorrect usage of Grammar -Finally share your report at the end of the meeting. Don't forget to give corrections and suggestions when you share the incorrect usage of  Grammar. WHAT IS THE ICE BREAKER SPEECH IN TOASTMASTERS ?

 As the term suggests it is set to reduce the nervousness in public speaking. It is the first speech of a member at toastmasters club. All you have to do is introducing yourself in your first speech. You can introduce any aspect of yourself but it is better to give an overall idea of 'who are you!' to your club members. It will be a fun exercise if you follow the below given steps to prepare yourself for your maiden speech at toastmasters club. -Organise your speech -Write your script - Rehearse with timing -Think how to deliver your message -Practice vocal variety  - Include body language -Determine to impress your club members

 When you are ready to take big responsibility , you can take up the role General Evaluator. General evaluator should perform the role with the support of evaluation team- Timer, Ah Counter , Grammarian and speech evaluators. Here the guide to perform the role; -At the beginning of the meeting introduce your role - From the beginning to ending observe preparation- organisation- delivery and performance -During the time of general evaluation introduce each evaluator and observe their evaluations - Finally share your general evaluation about the meeting with your club members. Make sure to spread positive vibes through your evaluation and share suggestion for better future implementation.  To perform Ah-Counter role you have to count and report the unnecessary sound used during the delivery of speech. Unnecessary sound include filler and repetitive role. IN NUTSHELL: HOW TO PERFORM THE ROLES IN CLUB MEETINGS OF TOASTMASTERS PART 1- ROLE OF TIMER

 To perform the role of timer you have to monitor time during prepared speeches , table topics and evaluations. During the delivery of above mentioned speeches there is a time duration and timer should alert each speaker using green, yellow and red cards. Accordingly, - Formal speeches of 6-7 minutes (Green card at 5 minutes/ Yellow card at 6 minutes/Red card at 7 minutes) -Evaluations of 2-3 minutes (Green card at 2 minutes / Yellow card at 2 minutes and 30 seconds/ Red card at 3 minutes) -Table topics of 2 minutes (Green card at 1 minute/Yellow card at 1 minute and 30 seconds/ Red card at 2 minutes) It is to be noted that you have to introduce your role at the beginning of the meeting and report time used by each speaker for their speech at the end of the meeting.
